It is about freely giving your time to help an organization, your community, or an individual. … To volunteer means to act on behalf of something or someone else. It is done by people with a desire to do good. It is done willingly – by choice.

NB:

The posts shall be on a part-time and voluntary basis without remuneration. The duration of the contract shall be 1 to 2 years, or any period agreed upon and subject to renewal upon good performance.
